Dear Members
I am honored and humbled to serve as president of Chicago Andhra Association for the year 2023 and thankful to all the Board Of Directors, Trustees, Members and Sponsors for supporting me and our organization.
The Vision, Dedication and Hard work of CAA founders, past leaders and committees made this one of the best Telugu Associations across USA and a cultural symposium for Andhrites in Chicago. It is my privilege to lead such reputed organization.
Last few years, world witnessed unparalleled challenges due to the pandemic. CAA has been active more than ever, organizing activities supporting Andhra Diaspora here in Chicago. We quickly adopted to a 100% virtual events mode, keeping our communities' spirit HIGH. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate 2022 executive team for bringing wonderful programs and expanding our digital capabilities through 2020, 21 and 22.
While we continue having inperson events, extreme caution is still necessary while conducting events. With the best interest of our community in view, please follow State and Federal guidelines when attending the events. Since all events are inperson, it is going to be an exciting year for all of us!!!
I and my team have many plans, goals for this year. Prominent amongst them is finding opportunities to entice active participation of our youth, born and raised here in USA. I personally feel purpose of organizations like ours remain incomplete if our next generations do not see a value in holding our flags into the future. Please reach out to me or my committee for any input/ideas on this topic.
Our team appreciates your continued support through memberships, sponsorships and participation. Best wishes to team 2023 and looking forward to a wonderful year ahead!
Thank you
Gowri Addanki
